Kandi Gower Clark, 44 Wichita Falls, TX

Funeral Service at First Baptist Church, Walters, OK, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., with interment in the Temple Cemetery, Temple, OK. Visitation at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters on Monday evening from 6-7:00 pm. Viewing on Sunday from 2:00-8:00 pm and on Monday beginning at 9:00 am.

Kandi Nichole (Gower) Clark, daughter of Clint Houston and Marina Dolores (Greenfield) Gower, was born May 26, 1979 in Oklahoma City, OK, and departed this life on February 1, 2024 in Wichita Falls, TX at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 6 days.

Ka n d i g r ew u p i n Temple, OK, graduating from THS in 1997. She then attended Southwestern in Weatherford, OK and then returned home for a time, attending Cameron University in Lawton before moving to Wichita Falls, TX. She was married to Gary Lee Clark in 2003, and to the union 2 daughters were born.

Kandi worked at the Union Square Credit Union 8 years, then worked for First National Bank and then the Teachers Credit Union. She then got into Home Health Marketing with a few companies before working in administration at United Regional Hospital. She spent the last couple of years as office manager for Visiting Angels of Wichita Falls.

Kandi was a member of First Baptist Church in Temple. She enjoyed listening to music, watching Dateline and binge-watching Friends. She loved the outdoors, enjoying vacations and trips to the lake, traveling to the mountains in New Mexico, as well as time spent at the river with her loving companion Ryan. She loved her dogs, football and OU. Trips to Braum’s for something sweet or to Starbucks for white chocolate mochas were a must. She loved days for shopping and hair and nails with the girls, she was truly a “Girl Mom.”

She was preceded in death by her dad, Clint Gower; her paternal grandparents, Thad and Louise Gower; her maternal grandfather, Charles Greenfield; and her uncle Craig Gower.

Survivors include her daughters, Landri Clark and Payton Clark both of Wichita Falls; her mother, Marina Gower of Lawton, OK; her Nannie, Nona Greenfield of Walters; her companion, Ryan Singleton and his daughter Rylee Ann Singleton of Wichita Falls; her aunts and uncles, Stanley Greenfield of Lawton, Judy Evens of Omaha, NE, Cletus and Jeanne Gower of Temple, and Renae Gower of Dallas; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends Memorial Donations can be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
