Robert LaMoine Cox, 56 Cache, OK

Funeral service for Robert LaMoine Cox will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Becker Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Robert LaMoine Cox, 56, of Cache, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Robert was born on May 25, 1967 in Oakland, California to Robert Dale Cox and Jenniele (Marsh) Cox. His father was in the Navy so the family lived in many states including Kansas, Virginia, California and Texas but eventually settled down in Walters, Oklahoma, where Robert attended high school. He married Jennifer Rogers on May 17, 2003 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Robert was a hard worker and worked in a variety of fields including on a fishing boat, as a short order cook and in historical restoration, but he loved doing construction and worked in that field for over 30 years. At the time of his illness he worked for Southwest Exteriors. He was a huge fan of OU football and planned his Saturdays in the fall around their schedule. When he traveled, if he saw someone in an Oklahoma shirt he would always call out Boomer. He was a loving and giving person and was always there for neighbors and friends. He would give anyone his last dollar but had a special place in his heart for animals and children. His favorite role was that of Papaw to his two granddaughters, Juniper and Amelia.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer, of the home; his children: Ryan Cox,Walters, Alex Fox-Meyer and her husband, Chris,Wichita Falls,Texas and Isabella Cox,Cache; his granddaughters Juniper Fox-Meyer and Amelia Turner; his brothers and sisters, Michael and Kimberly Cox,Tuttle, April Abbe,Walters, Cissy and Kevin Lindesmith,Waurika, and Bobbie and Toby Riddles, Ardmore; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Dale Cox, his brother, James Andrew Cox, his grandparents, Bert and Mae Cox and Donna and LaMoine Marsh.
