When Jesus comes back to earth, evil is going to be destroyed. The devil himself is going to be cast into the bottomless pit, and ultimately into the lake of fire. The bible says the lake of fire was prepared for the devil and all who follow him. God never wants anyone else to go to Hell.
This is the reason God calls upon people everywhere to follow Him and to be obedient to His Word. We must decide if we are going to live for God and serve Him or live for Satan and follow him and run after the things of the world.
When Christ returns there will be worldwide justice. Hunger and poverty will be eliminated. Racial hatred will disappear. All the tensions between ethnic groups will be gone – and there will be no more fighting. What a wonderful time that is going to be! Nature itself is going to be changed. There will be safety and security. Those who say no to Him now will one day bow at His feet, but then it will be too late to turn to Him and receive His eternal salvation.
Until that time, evil will continue to reign. Salvation now is the answer to evil and accepting Christ as your personal Savior will bring peace to the heart and strength for the journey until He comes.
But do not fear. Daniel 10: 12 says; “Then said he unto me, Fear not Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.”
Prayer is one of our greatest mysteries. We don’t fully understand its power, nor do we know why God values our prayers so deeply. We’re often unaware of the spiritual battles waged in the heavenly places because of our prayers, though we get a hint of the struggle in Daniel 10. But there’s no question about this – God hears our prayers and encourages us to pray to Him about everything.
The majority of us have very strong faith in Christ, but a minority, a few new believers, they need their faith to grow. Pray for their faith to take a deep root in the love of God so they can be steadfast in Him – not focus on the problems, but focus on Jesus. We need to pray that we will not follow the evil of the world and fall into that bottomless pit / lake of fire with the devil. We must focus all our attention of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Keep praying and don’t lose your faith. Read Scripture and grow in your spiritual life.
