Mrs. A. C. Neel suffered severe cuts and bruises when she fell from a car just north of the “Y” on the Lawton road last Friday afternoon. Mrs. Neel and her daughter, Miss Vera Neel, and Gwendolyn White were enroute to Lawton when the door of the car in which they were riding jarred loose. Mrs. Neel attempted to hold it while Miss Neel slowed down, but the wind suddenly caught the door and threw Mrs. Neel clear of the car... Ross Ewing has purchased the wholesale agency for the Panhandle Refinery Co. from D. N. Williams...Joe W. McBride, editor of The Walters Herald, was confirmed by the state senate Tuesday for a seven year term as a member of the University of Oklahoma board of regents.
