Moore, county commissioner of District 1 for many years, announced Tuesday he would not seek reelection in the primary next May. He said his health will not permit his campaigning for the office or holding it past this term...Miss Earline DeVine and Billy Jeff Welden will solemnize wedding vows in the Walters Methodist church Saturday, December 9. The bride is the daughter of Margaret and Earl DeVine, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Welden, all of Walters.

Masonic officers are: Bobby McIntyre is Worshipful Master, replacing Billy Graham, and Othello Hooker will lead the Stars, replacing Jane James as Worthy Matron.

Wall, aviation electronics technician airman, USN, son of Mrs. Effie Wall of Temple, is serving at the Chase Field Naval Auxiliary Air Station, Beeville, Texas.
