The county contest-winning girls’ quartet from Devol highschool entertained members of the Rotary club here at their regular luncheon meeting Thursday. Members of the quartet are Wanda Lou Addington, Joe Ella O’Brien, Ethel Gammill and Marlene Smith, accompanied by Mrs. Jessie Mae Hines, their instructor...J. B. Bost, 16, and Paul Adams, 18, Temple highschool seniors, last week were chosen as two of 29 young Future Farmers of America to receive the Junior Master Farmer degree...Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Nelson are parents of a daughter, Mary Ann, born May 1...Mrs. Marcella Kerr and James Young Fender were married April 16 at Waurika. Mr. Bruce Nelson, Walters high school vocational agriculture instructor, and Mrs. Nelson, junior high science teacher, for the past six years, have resigned their positions.
