They will reside in the bridegroom’s ranch home located south of Corum...A poor misguided mallard was making his way south for the winter the Thursday before Halloween when his eyes caught a lovely lady duck resting in the yard of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Graham at 1110 Holly and he decided a short visit would be in order. He liked what he saw and has been there ever since, but no one has had the heart to tell him that his female companion is made of concrete. “He has hardly left the side of the new found friend and her small ducklings since he arrived,” Mrs. Graham said.

The Temple Tribune Feb. 26, 1959 Claude Spurlock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spurlock, won first place at the Cameron college science fair held last week for his Actinoscope, a device for detecting electromagnetic radiation. Louis White, son of Mrs. Gene White, received second place prize for a proximity detector.
