Thoughts on Roe

It is no secret that I believe it is wrong to murder babies in the womb. Babies have no voice.

They can’t stand up for themselves. Roe was recently sent back to the states as it should never have been a federal matter. Depending upon your state, abortions may continue. Yes, it is still legal in this land to commit murder of babies, but we have taken a step in the right direction.

Folks, it is reported that over 63 million babies have been aborted since 1973. That’sapproximately the entire population of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado,

Wyoming, Nebraska, and Louisiana.

I believe it is right to celebrate life. I celebrate life with our own children. I continue to celebrate the lives of seven grandchildren; not just at birth, but I celebrate life when I learn a grandchild has been conceived in the womb

But everything about life seems all upside down. If someone doesn’t want a child, they are told to just abort. This just ain’t right! How is it possible to be okay to abort a human life that God began at conception? It’s like, “Child, I don’t have time or space for you, I’m just going to end your life.” How and why is this even a reality?

We live in a land where the same people that want to abort babies also want to save things such as a tree and certain “endangered” animals. Organizations such as hsus and peta desire to keep us from eating meat because we are “murdering animals.” Yet, many in those groups don’t have a problem at all with aborting a child. They call it choice because murder sounds so mean, and they try to make it all about the welfare of the mother. I am all for moms having the right to do as they choose (up to a point) with their own body, but that baby in the womb is not actually the mother’s body. It belongs to that baby.

Why is it legal to reach into the womb and murder our children? Don’t even get me started on Planned Parenthood and organizations like them. They just need to go away! Perhaps this is the beginning of something better!

Our own preamble to the Declaration of Independence says this: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Why do people in this country insist that a baby, in the protection of the womb, is not a precious life with his or her on rights? It would seem these little ones should be the most precious of all!

Why is it that those who cannot yet stand on their own are never allowed to stand at all? Who will speak for them if we don’t?

Jesus said, “So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.” (Matt. 18:14 nasb)

I can’t imagine how people can think babies in the womb are not people God has created. Many of you know these verses so well. But others do not. Concerning the little ones in the womb: Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations." (nasb)

We are valuable to God. He was already planning our futures for His Kingdom while we were yet a mere “fetus.” He has a plan for those little ones! Yet there are folks in our land that desire to take away those innocent creations of His!

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. (Psalms 139:13-14)

Choose Jesus, choose life and let your light shine! And find a Bible believin’ church where you “fit in” and know, grow, and follow Christ! Tell others! See y’all at church and keep PRAYIN’ for HIS HARVEST! And hey, y’all let us all be of one accord and pray for some RAIN on this parched land! Amen.
