Congratulations Walters Choir!

CONGRATULATIONS to the following 2024 Varsity Choir members. Friday, April 19, 2024, they traveled to OKC for STATE OSSAA Solo and Ensemble Contest after ranking first place in District competition in Lawton.

**High School**

**8th Grade**

Traylee Winfree First place medalists ensembles were: 3-part Mixed - Et in Terra Pax (Latin text - 'Lord God, we give thanks to Thee/Grant us peace; 3-part Mixed Something Told the Wild Geese; SSA Women - The Poet Sings; and 2-part Women - Wade in the Water. The Middle School/High School Men's Ensemble, Rock Island Line, placed second. Soloist Jamie Harris and Evie Everett were awarded second place certification and Jocelyn Scherler earned first place gold. In all the singers came home with 45 first place Gold Medals. They represented Walters Public Schools with great pride and should be commended for their hard work and exceptional talents.
