Thank You Letter from Jesus:

Well, as y’all (I think Jesus says y’all around here) already know, it’s that time of year when folks celebrate my birthday. I so appreciate the thought that you would honor my birth. And what really matters is that y’all get to know Me and spend time with Me, and that counts for all days.

It looks as if plans are in the works for another big celebration this year. Some have been planning to celebrate this day for months. Announcements are posted on every store. Advertisements are everywhere. They go so overboard. In previous years, there is always a big party, but I wasn’t invited. Can you imagine that? The guest of honor was not even invited to his own birthday party! They spend two months putting it all together and when the invitations were sent out, I was left off the list! But I’m not really surprised. It happens every year. But even though I am not invited, I still go. Maybe someone will remember why they celebrate my birthday and let others in on the big secret. I mean it is a God thing. I was born of a virgin and my Father sent me to save that which is lost. I just stand to the side and don’t make a scene.

Everyone was having a great time, when out of the back room a jolly fellow in a red suit trimmed with white and wearing a fake white beard started yelling out, “Ho, Ho, Ho!” He began telling stories of the elves and sleighs and flying reindeer. Santa was a nice fellow with the kids, but I could see this party was not being held for me.

After a bit, I left there and began to walk down the street. I thought about that little manger scene you lovingly placed in the corner of your living room. Now, that was very special! It’s nice of you to commemorate my birthday like that. It’s sad, but your government no They remembered contentment can’t come from the bank.

They went to their home with a new sense of glee

And gathered the children their Bible to read.

They read about Jesus and angels and kings, They read about all of the wonderful things. They read of forgiveness, of wiping out sin, They read about Mary and Joseph again.

And just as they started to all say goodnight, The youngest suggested they pray if alright. They prayed and asked God to bring to their mind. The Reason for the Season amidst all the grind.

As you make your way through this Christmas Season,

Don’t forget to make Jesus the reason,

The reason you celebrate is Christ, not just shop. So, let’s keep him right on our list at the top.

May God bless you as you spend this Christmas season

Thanking Him for the most important reason.

Our only way to forgiveness of sins

And an eternity to be celebrated with Him.

Merry Christmas!

longer allows such demonstrations as a nativity in the public square. In the schools, the place where those who are precious to me go to learn, even the truth of my innocent birth cannot be shared.

And presents are exchanged to the extent that those who receive them do not even want or need them. Just go look at the return lines at the stores. But Jesus, “We can’t present our presents to you, you’re not around. How can we give you a present?” You already know My answer: Matt. 25:35-40 nasb ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ ‘;Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.

It reminds me of a cowboy friend. He’s just a poor ole’ cowhand and he’d been trying to attend a church near where he lives, but they wouldn’t even let him in the door. He was always wearing clothes that weren’t good enough or he would accidently leave just a little green stuff from the corral under his boot. Now understand, he did bathe and try to be presentable, but some things, only I can remove!

One day, I saw him sitting by the church steps with his head on his hands bowed and I asked him what was wrong. The man told me, “They won’t even let me in so I can worship You.” I put my arm around his shoulder and told him, “I know just how you feel, it’s been over thirty years since they let me in!”

Looking forward to hearing from you! Seek Me often! Your Friend, Jesus.

Choose Jesus, choose life and let your light shine! And find a Bible believin’ church where you “fit in” and know, grow, and follow Christ! Tell others! See y’all at church and keep PRAYIN’ for HIS HARVEST! Pray for the rain! Amen!

Merry Christmas from Wes and Cheryl!
