The Cotton County Art Council is excited announce that Saturday, May 4th is the date of their annual Arts and Crafts Show. The Council is putting out a call to artists and crafters to participate in this year’s show. There will be ribbon and monetary awards in both the fine arts and crafts. The 7 Fine Art categories are (Oil or Acrylic on canvas), Photography, Sculpture/3D, Mixed Media, Computer Art, Graphics, and (Watercolor, Pastel, or Acrylics on paper). Best of Show in the fine arts will win $400, and the Judge’s Choice Award in crafts will win $125. In the Fine Arts in each category there will be monetary awards of $100 for 1st , $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd place. In the Crafts category there will be three 1st place awards of $50 each, three 2nd place awards of $30 each, and three 3rd place awards of $20 each.
