Jess Thompson, former Temple high school athlete who graduated in 1927, will coach at Temple next year. Thompson is slated to replace J. O. Jerry sustained a compound fracture of the right leg...John Curtis Collins, 80, a pioneer resident of the Gregg community, northeast of Temple, died in a pickup-truck collision Monday evening on State Highway 53, eight miles east of Walters.
