Sometimes it’s better to sell your used car rather than trading it in for a newer model. Take the 1965 Ford Mustang recently auctioned off by Mecum Auctions in Indianapolis, Ind. It fetched a world record $3.5 million. It should be noted, says the Association of Mature American Citizens [AMAC], that it wasn’t your run-of-the-mill Mustang, it was a first of its kind 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R. In fact, it was the prototype for the line of competition cars and it was the first to win a race.
