Lawton Farmers Market returns to Cameron University for winter months

The Lawton Farmers Market, an initiative of the Southwest Growers Association, will return to the Cameron University Animal Sciences Building from November 2 through May 2, 2020. The winter market will operate each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., beginning on Saturday, November 2, continuing through the beginning of May 2020. The facility is located on the west side of the 900 block of SW 38th Street. Parking is available on the south side of the building. For those looking to source local produce, meat and handmade and artisan items, the winter market is the place to go. In addition to sprouts, micro greens, meat, eggs, honey, nuts, and more, fall produce will abound. Be on the lookout for apples, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, pears, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, turnips, winter squash and more.
