Black wooley buggers and walts worms are producing the most fish for fly fisherman. It is important to get the fly down and close to the bottom because that is where the fish have been . Try fishing below falls and around current break for best result. If you try a spot and it does not produce fish in 30 or so minutes move on to the next spot.

Striped Bass are biting live shad and flukes ( Or Deadsticking ). Anglers should use electronics or active birds to locate feeding striper. Wind blown banks are producing good fish with live bait ( Ghost minnows and shad ). Deadsticking has picked up and is an effective technique to catch good fish. Blue cats are being caught on or near cleaning docks on cut bait. Crappie fishing has been fair on docks with brush below.
