Southeast

Arbuckle: August 5. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal, water 84 and stained. Largemouth bass good on square billed crankbaits, Carolinarigged lizards, and creature baits around the main lake. Smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits and shakey head worms at 3 ft. up creeks. Crappie fair on brush piles and docks in the early morning hours. Channel catfish good on baited holes. Blue River: August 6. Elevation normal, water 80 and muddy. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, and dough bait around brush structure, creek channels, and rocks. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on jerk bait, spinnerbaits, and tube jigs around brush structure, rocks, and shorelines. Bluegill, green, and redear sunfish fair on crickets and worms around shallows and shorelines. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace.  

Broken Bow: August 2. Elevation normal, water

88. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on Alabama rig, crankbaits, and plastics around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Channel, blue, and flathead catfish good on punch bait and worms around channels, points, river channel, and river mouth. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Eufaula: August 2. Elevation above normal, water 83 and murky. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and shad around main lake, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on minnows around brush structure. Report submitted by Jake Bersche, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.  

Konawa: August 1. Elevation normal, water 91 and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastics, and topwater lures around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rig, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, and river channel. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, live shad, and stinkbait around inlet, riprap, and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork: August 2. Elevation normal, water clear. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, small lures, and tube jigs below the dam, around river channel and spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

McGee Creek: August 2. Elevation normal, water 84. Largemouth and spotted bass good on buzz baits, crankbaits, jerk bait, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around coves, points, rocks, and shorelines. Channel and flathead catfish fair on goldfish, live bait, sunfish, jugs, and trotlines at 12-25 ft. around creek channels, points, and river channel. Murray: July 31. Elevation above normal, water 91 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on Alabama rig, bill baits, crankbaits, jigs, and plastics around brush structure, discharge, and docks. Report submitted by Jaylen Flynn, game warden stationed in Carter County.  

Pine Creek: August 2. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth bass good on topwater lures around points. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver and cut bait around the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Robert S. Kerr: August

2. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on lipless baits, plastics, and tube jigs around coves, riprap, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, shad, stinkbait, and sunfish around flats, main lake, and river mouth. Texoma: August 2. Elevation normal, water 83 and clear. Striped bass good on live shad, sassy shad, shad, slabs, and topwater lures below and around the dam and flats. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Blue catfish slow on cut bait, live shad, and shad below the dam and around main lake and river channel. Striped Bass fishing has been good the past week in early mornings and late evenings on surface lures while surface feeding is present. Looking for large schools of fish breaking the surface of the water and approach with trolling motor staying on the edge of the feeding school to ensure the school continues to feed on the surface. Most any lure will work while surface feeding is present. Usually, by about 10 am most of the striped bass will lay dormant until late in the evening when they will start feeding again. If bait fishing for striped bass anglers should focus on shallow flats. Crappie have been in 18-20 ft. of water beneath docks and are being caught on jigs and minnows. Wister: August 2. Elevation above normal, water clear. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, buzz baits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around channels, coves, and points. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, shad, and stinkbait below the dam, around channels and main lake. Crappie good on jigs and minnows below the dam, around brush structure and channels. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, Game warden stationed in LeFlore County.

Altus-Lugert: July 4. Elevation dropping, water 80 and clear. Walleye slow on bill baits, crankbaits, and jigs below the dam, around riprap and rocks. Crappie and white bass fair on jigs and minnows around docks and rocks. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, crickets, minnows, punch bait, stinkbait, and worms below the dam, around flats, river channel, and river mouth. Ellsworth: August 4. Elevation above normal, water 83 and murky. Crappie slow on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Blue and channel catfish slow on cut bait, punch bait, and shad around main lake and points. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.  

Ft. Cobb: August 6. Elevation normal, water 89 and clear. White bass fair on crankbaits around points. Report submitted by Braden Hicks, game warden stationed in Caddo County.   

Lawtonka: August 4. Elevation above normal, water 81 and clear. Blue and channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, and dough bait around main lake and points. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.  

Tom Steed: August 6. Elevation normal, water 82. White bass and striped hybrid bass fair on crankbaits around the main lake. Report submitted by David Smith, game warden stationed in Kiowa County.

Waurika: August 2. Elevation normal, water high 80s and clearing. Crappie good on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure and rocks.
