Memorial Service for Terry Reed, 64, Walters, OK to be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK, on Friday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Jack Jacob officiating.

Terry Ray Reed was born June 25, 1955 in Dallas, TX, and departed this life in Lawton, OK on January 12, 2020 at the age of 64 years, 6 months and 18 days.

Twins boys, Terry and Larry, were the pride and joy of parents Sharrell Joseph and Helen Oleta (Turnbow) Reed. Terry grew up in the Taylor Store Community of southern

Cotton County and attended Temple Public Schools, graduating from THS in 1973. He then attended some college at OU in Norman where he got into sales, including real estate, music and auto. He returned home to the farm upon the death of his father in 1985. He continued in sales, working with music sales in Lawton, auto sales in Wichita Falls, insurance in Walters, and finally in motorcycle sales at G & S Suzuki in Wichita Falls.

Terry enjoyed riding horses for a time and then became passionate about his bikes and riding with friends. As kids, he and his brother enjoyed traveling with their parents to Lake City, CO, each year for vacation. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Walters.

Terry was preceded in death by his dad, Sharrell Reed and his mother, Helen Reed Parrish.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Debbie Reed of Comanche, OK; a niece, Lacy West and husband Neil of Lawton; 2 nephews, Chase Reed and wife Amber of Comanche, Dane Reed and wife Cailin of Edmond, OK; 3 great nephews, Ayden and Logan Reed, and Micah Reed; other relatives and friends.
