Patricia Ann Flanagan went to meet her Savior on February 20, 2021 after an extended battle with Covid-19. Patricia (Pat) was born on October 9, 1944 in Eagle

Pass, Texas to Funston and Francis Flanagan. She grew up in Walters, OK attending and graduating from Walters High School where she met her husband William (Bill) Flanagan who was sitting behind her in class.

Pat attended college at SWOSU in Weatherford, OK and transferred to Texas Christian University to be closer to Bill. Marrying in 1965, both Pat and Bill graduated from TCU with

Bachelors of Business degrees.

Patricia was a hardworking, diverse, strong woman who had many careers in her life. She taught high school in Walters, Norman, and finishing her teaching tenure in Mustang, OK where she coached Mustang’s first Mock Trial Team to State Champions. Pat then turned her sights on becoming an attorney by graduating from Oklahoma University Law School in 1986 and enjoyed practicing law for the next 25 years. However, that wasn’t enough for Patricia. She also simultaneously became a tag agent for the Oklahoma Tax Commission and opened her own business, Yukon Tag Agency.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved quilting, riding her 4-wheeler, camping in Colorado and was also an avid-reader. She served on the Board of Editors for the Oklahoma Bar Journal, was a member of CASA, and was active at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Flanagan and children: Spencer Flanagan and daughter Brecklyn of Neosho, MO; Jeanne (Flanagan) Pennington and husband Jason, daughters Shelby and Delaney of Yukon, OK; as well as, Trevor Flanagan and wife Becki, sons T.J. and

Drake also of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by her siblings: Kathleen Flanagan, Alice Loftin,

Mary Glasgow, Michael Flanagan, Janis Darley, and Mark Flanagan and many nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by her baby brother John and parents Funston & Francis Flanagan.

Rosary Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, OK. Social distancing and masks are required. Interment will be at a later date in Walters, OK. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church Altar Society @ sjnok.org.
