Memorial Graveside for Mary Anderson, 55, Walters, OK will be at the Walters Cemetery, Walters, OK, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., Rev. Kent Simpson officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral home.

Mary Gail Anderson was born November 1, 1964, Lawton, OK to John Joe and Ada Rae (Simms) Simon and departed this life in Lawton, OK on August 16, 2020 at the age of 55 years, 9 months and 15 days.

Mary grew up at Walters, graduating from WHS in 1982. She married Robert Anderson and to the union 2 children were born. She has made her home mainly in Meridian and Walters, working as a waitress at Eduardo’s and Bob’s Restaurant. She also worked in the coffee shop at Apache Casino and worked retail at Goodwill in Lawton. Mary enjoyed garage sales and doing macrame.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada Simon; and a brother, Joe Simon.

Survivors include 2 children and spouses, Jonathan Anderson and wife Sarah of Marlow, OK, Desarae Gibson and Dalon of McAlester, OK; 4 brothers and spouses, Tony and Jo Ann Simon of Ardmore, OK, James Simon of Waurika, OK, Nick and Kelly Simon of Walters and Jerry Simon of Walters; 3 sisters and a spouse, Debbie Allen of Midwest City, OK, Teena and Roy Allen of Walters, and Krista Anderson of Burkburnett, TX; 3 grandchildren, Lilly, Deegan and Kippa Anderson; many other relatives and friends.
