Linda Turk

Memorial Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Brantley Tillery officiating with Eulogy by longtime friend Linda Coward.

Linda Yvonne Turk was born on March 3, 1947 in Walters, OK to Charles and Elizabeth McCammon. She passed away due to health complications, on August 1, 2020 in Grapevine, TX surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old.

Linda grew up in San Antonio, TX where she met and married Paul J. Turk, Jr in 1965. They had 3 children, Paula, Robbie and Stacy and moved to Grapevine, TX. Later, Linda and her 3 children moved to Walters, OK where they lived for several years before moving back to Texas. In 2003, she returned to Walters where she lived out the remainder of her life. Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Walters until her health prohibited her attendance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Elizabeth (Liz) McCammon, of Walters.

Survivors: Children, Paula Vardell, Grapevine, TX; Robert Turk, Walters, OK; Stacy Turk, N. Richland Hills, TX; Grandchildren. Tiffany Foster (Marcus), Bedford, TX; Savannah Vardell(JC Pacheco), Richardson, TX; Noah Randolph, N. Richland Hills, TX; Joshua Turk, Las Vegas, NV; Brother, Steve McC ammon, W alters, OK; Sister-in-law, Linda McC ammon, Walters, OK; Nieces, Sheri (Rick) Bitsche, Lawton, OK; Sondra (Jason) Easley, Choctaw, OK; Great nephews/nieces, Skylar Smith, Jace Curry, Shaelyn Smith, Jaryn Curry, and Sienna Easley. And her beloved dog Lily.

Linda’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her dear friend, Rebecca (Boo) Cherry-Ledford for taking such special care of her these last few years.
