David Balding

David Lee Balding was born to Thomas Clare and Mary Frances (Price) Balding on July 31, 1946 in Lawton, OK. He was promoted to his heavenly home Friday, November 6, 2020.
David grew up in Walters, OK, graduating from WHS in 1965. Stationed in Germany, he served two years in the U.S Army. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1972. He retired from General Mills after 25 years in food sales and account management.
David married Patsy (Bryant) Balding in August 1966. To this union two sons were born, Bryan Balding of Yukon, OK and Brad Balding of Mustang, OK. David and Patsy loved God’s creation of the great outdoors. They enjoyed many trips hiking, overlanding, camping, hunting and snow skiing (especially when the grandchildren went along).
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy and Mike Balding.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and six grandchildren—Patsy, their son Bryan and his children Ava, Jonas, and Bella; and son Brad and his wife Jennifer, and their children Clare, Cameron, and Caitlin—as well as many other family members and friends.
