On November 18, The Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation hosted the Duncan Area Youth Engineering Contest (CO2 Car Race) and your WHS students faired very well!

Emily Robinson, Jr- 1st Place People’s Choice

Kainoa Tabile, SR - 2nd Place overall

Makenna Fisher JR - 3rd place Race (Not pictured)

Robert Marlow SR - 3rd Place people’s choice

Mr. Nease pairs this project with the teaching of Dynamics (Newton's Laws of Motion and Motion in 2 Dimensions) in his Chemistry and Physics classes. The students are then given the criteria and design their own CO2 cars. This is the 4th year WHS has participated in the event.
