We have an opportunity to live differently

We have an opportunity to live differently than the angry, frustrated world around us. We have been forgiven. The Son of God emptied Himself of the glory that is rightly His, left heaven, took on Himself the form of a man, and a servant at that, obeyed God in everything including dying on the cross for the sins of the world. He took our shame so that we no longer have to live shamefully like the rest of the world that does not yet know Him. This is our opportunity to show the world the difference He can make. We don’t have to agree. We don’t have to give up hope or fighting for what is right, but we need to do so respectfully, prayerfully, and obediently as we wait to find out whether we even have something to complain about or not.
