Walters High School Academic Team Heads To Area Tournament

On Saturday, November 16, 2019, members of the Walters High School Academic Team traveled to Mangum, OK to the OSSAA Regional Academic Tournament where they competed against Mangum, Cordell, Hobart, Minco, Boone-Apache, Frederick, Merritt, and Sayre. Mangum won, but Walters took the Runner Up spot which qualified them to move on to the Area Tournament which will be held January 18, 2020. Members pictured are Josh Farris, Blaise Morgan, Josh Cannon, Ashlynne Self, Sutherlin Tillery, Chloe Stores, Mrs. Pattie Calfy (Coach), Zanden Dyke, and Makenna Fisher.
