Private applicator licenses are required for renewal every 5 years, and are required to purchase or apply restricted use pesticides. Showing of this license may be necessary to purchase any restricteduse pesticides. Many people have already gotten their licenses for this 5-year period but if you have been dragging your feet, you need to get it before the new year. After December 31, 2019 the test will no longer be open book. So if you are still needing to take the test and apply you can still come by the OSU Extension Office and purchase a packet. Packets are $20. Test must be mailed in before December 31, 2019 to still be eligible for the open test style testing.
