Passenger was Lynda Faye Smith, 15...Karen Denise is the name Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Edgmon, Walters, have selected for their daughter born February 16...Linda Diane is the name Mr. and Mrs. Horace Fowler, Walters, have chosen for their daughter born February 14...Bob Jameson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jameson, has recently moved to Pampa, Texas, with his family, where he has taken over the duties of Manager at McClellans Variety Store...Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Malone, of Pampa, Texas, have chosen the name Dana Eileen for their second daughter, born February 1. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Coleman...Phillips Petroleum Company has announced the appointment of R. E. Jeffrey as Editorial Director in the advertising and public relations department. Jeffrey was reared in Cotton County, graduated from Walters High School in 1931, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Jeffrey, Pioneer County residents.

Hardin, of Temple, announce the arrival of a daughter born Saturday, February 16, named Georgeann. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Epp, and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James O. Hardin, all of Walters...Danny Marlett was being introduced around town Tuesday as a new employee of the Walters Bank and Trust. Marlett and his wife, the former Candra Cooper, have moved to Walters from Weatherford.

T/Sgt. Jack Jobe left Fort Sill Saturday for Camp Stoneman, Calif., to be temporarily stationed before sailing for some undisclosed place in the South Pacific. He is scheduled to serve from 18 months to two years overseas. His wife, Jackie, and 15-month-old son, Randy, will continue to make their home in Temple...Minister and Mrs. Dwain Jones, former residents of Winfield, Kansas, arrived in Temple Monday and are now at home in the Church of Christ parsonage. Mrs. Jones has accepted a teaching position in the Temple schools.
