Candlelight Vigil for Equality and Peace Held In Walters

Thursday, June 4 at the Gazebo in Walters a Candlight Vigil was held in honor of the man killed by police.

There was live music provided by Cody Newby and Lynn Moon with several guest speakers, who spoke on unprecedented things in our country, love we need for each other. Among those present were Pastor Paul and St. Rep Toni Hasenbeck.

Law Enforcement present was all around with Walters PD and Cotton County.

Everyone behaved very well. This just shows how a small community can come together for a greater cause.
