Cameron University to offer extended enrollment services hours from January 2-4

When Cameron University returns from winter break on Thursday, January 2, select university offices will offer extended hours to assist students enrolling for the Spring 2020 semester. The Office of Admissions, the Academic Advising Center, the Office of Financial Assistance, the Registrar’s Office, the Testing Center, One Stop, and the Bookstore will remain open on Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3, until 6 p.m.

Additionally, these offices will be open on Saturday, January 4, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. to assist new and continuing students with the enrollment process. Check in for Saturday will be at the Academic Advising Center located on the first floor of North Shepler.

Classes for the Spring 2020 semester start on Monday, January 6.

Advisors will be available in the Academic Advising Center to advise and enroll admitted and eligible students on a walk-in basis during these extended hours.

During the extended hours, prospective students can meet with an admissions counselor who can assist with the admissions, or readmission, process.  Students who plan to visit with Admissions are required to bring official, sealed records for the application review process.

The Office of Financial Assistance will be open to assist students with student aid applications as well as talk about scholarship opportunities. In addition, representatives from the Office of Veterans Affairs will be available to assist veterans and their dependents with applicable benefits.

The Testing Center, located on the 5th floor of North Shepler, will offer course placement tests as needed.  All testers are required to present a photo ID.

Staff members in the One Stop, located on the first floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex, will be available to process student account payments and to issue student parking permits (vehicle license plate information required) and ID cards (photo ID required).

The Bookstore, also located on the first floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex, will offer students the opportunity to purchase books and applicable general supplies.
