Naioma Frances Cofer was born to John Henry and Martha Frances (Park) Berry on March 4, 1937 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on December 29, 2020 at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 25 days.

Naioma grew up south of Walters. She married Bill Parker on March 29, 1953 in Walters and to the union 5 children were born. The family made their home in Gilbert, AZ until returning to Walters in September of 1971. They then moved on to Lawton in April of 1972 where she was employed at Haggar’s through the 1980s. She married Milton Cofer and the couple moved to Texas in 1990, making their home at Krum. Upon Milton’s death in 2013 she returned to Lawton to be with her daughter. Naioma enjoyed going to the casino, Bingo, cards, dominos, and going to eat at Ann’s Country Kitchen. She enjoyed traveling with Milton to Las Vegas and Florida. She was a collector of bells from all over. She was a momma to many bonus kids when here children were growing up, and always had extra for their friends at meal time. Naioma enjoyed meeting people and visiting, was a big hugger, and loved her grandkids and great grands.

She was preceded in death her parents; her 15-mo. old daughter, Sherry Ann Parker; her husband Milton Cofer; her granddaughter, Mandy Ann Raite; 3 brothers, Johnny, Walton and Waymond Berry; and 2 sisters, Linda Winter and Joyce Seay.

She is survived by 4 children, Billy Parker and wife Melissa of Slidell, LA, Donna Raite of Lawton, Terry Parker and Bobby Parker both of Slidell, LA; 4 grandchildren, Amber Raite, Jake Parker, Jordan Parker and Andrew Parker; several great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
