The Cotton County Angel Tree will be accepting requests to sign your child/children up for the Angel Tree beginning Monday, October 12rd thru Friday, November 13th. The program is only available to those families that are currently receiving food stamps thru Cotton County DHS. Children between the ages of (1) one thru (16) sixteen are eligible to be signed up for the Angel Tree. (Children must be one (1) one year old at the time of sign up.

Requests to add your child to the Angel Tree list should be made By Phone ONLY at (405)982-2399 OR (405)982-3274, 10am-4pm. Children's names submitted will be converted to a numbered Angel. In order to make it easier to select an Angel to buy for, the paper Angels will be available to pick up in the city where the child resides beginning Monday, November 16th.

Angel Trees will be on display in Walters at the Walters Bank and Trust, in Temple at the First State Bank of Temple, in Randlett at the U.S. Post Office. Angels for Devol residents will also be at the Randlett U.S. Post Office. The deadline to select an Angel to buy for is Friday, December 4th. All gifts should be returned to the place where you selected the Angel by Monday, December 14th no later than 2:00 p.m. Please make sure the Angel number is recorded on every gift.

Distribution will be on Thursday, December 17th in your city of residence (please have your letter). Walters’s residents will pick-up gifts at the DHS office between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. only. If you can’t pick up your gifts, please call one of the numbers above. Distribution in Temple will be at the Temple Area Food Pantry (Haggar Building) at the NE corner of Commercial and Main between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. In Randlett/Devol, pick-up will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Randlett Post Office parking lot.
