Open house for the newly remodeled Cotton Electric building is set for Sunday afternoon. Outside, the building has an all-new modernistic look, done in tan brick and porcelain enamel in turquoise color. A drive-in cashier’s window has been added to the north side, as well as a night depository box...A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Fitzhugh, of Goldsboro, N. Car., February 2. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Tarkington and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Gray, of Temple...A marriage license was issued to W. H. McCammon, 65, and Naomi Ruth Jones, both of Walters...Five vocalists from Walters are among those selected for the all-state chorus February 23-25 at the University of Oklahoma. They are: Margaret Ann Barbee, soprano; Pat Flanagan, alto; John Grummon, bass; Mike Hooper, tenor; John Paul Jones, bass; and Pat Purkey, alto.

Michele Thomas and Lisa Haley have been named covaledictorians of Temple High School. Michele is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mike Thomas. Lisa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Haley. Donna Jan Lewis is the salutatorian. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Lewis...Mr. and Mrs. Terry Robinson, of Randlett, announce the birth of a baby boy born February 9. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Robinson, of Burkburnett, and the maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Woods...Devol town treasurer, J. P. Eley, who has served in this capacity for the past ten years, has announced his wish to retire from the o ice.

Other o icers installed were: Charity, Mildred Waller; Hope, Sharon Hooper; Faith, Norvella Barnes; Drill Leader, Dana Jo McClenny; Inner observer, Loretta Carroll; Outer observer, Phyliss Ely; red, Mary Jo McIlhaney; orange, Mary Jo Graham; yellow, Dian White; green, Dorothy Carroll; and blue, Billie Wood. Outgoing worthy advisor was Carol Sue McIlhaney.
