Memorial service for Ann Davis Madden will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Ann Davis Madden, 81, of Lawton passed away surrounded by family on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born in Ada, Oklahoma on October 19, 1937 to Walter Amerson and Dora “Marie” (Clour) Morris. She attended Healdton High School and later married Jim Davis. Together they had two children, Becky Davis Anderson and Toni Davis Stough Chambers. They settled their family in Walters, Oklahoma.

Ann loved caring for others which was evident in her extensive nursing career. She began her nursing career as an LPN working in the recovery room at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. In 1984, she became a women’s health nurse practitioner and served the Lawton community until she retired in 2005. Four years ago Ann married Jim Madden. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Ann had a contagious smile and love for life. If you knew Ann, you quickly realized how much she loved people and animals. She enjoyed trail riding, camping and caring for her dogs and horses. Her fondest memories usually included her family, her horses or her boxers, Zoe and Tank.

Ann is survived by her husband Jim Madden of the home, her children, Becky Anderson and husband Mark of Walters, Oklahoma, Toni Chambers and husband Jimmie of Warner, Oklahoma, her grandchildren, Thomas Stough and wife Kathleen of Oklahoma City, Jason Anderson and wife Dana of Elgin, Oklahoma, Kailee Anderson of McCloud, Oklahoma, JD Stough and Dr. Brooke Stough of Enid, Oklahoma, her greatgrandchildren, Kayla Crawford Howell and Bryce Crawford of Oklahoma City, Ava and Jax Stough of Enid, Oklahoma, and Joplin Stough of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
