Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ Student-Led Events Focusing on Prayer, Worship and a Commitment to Bible Reading Set for Oct. 10

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—For many, sports has become more of a platform than a way to glorify God. But nearly 200,000 students, coaches, parents and community members will gather on hundreds of athletic fields nationwide next month for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ (FCA, www.fca.org) 15th annual Fields of Faith to bring glory to Jesus Christ rather than attention to themselves.

These athletes will stand for their faith at upwards of 500 student-led and studentdriven gatherings across the country and around the world. The central focus is to encourage their peers to pray, read their Bible and commit their lives to Christ.
