Thomas Charles Sides, 66, of Burkburnett, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. Arrangements were under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett. Thomas Charles Sides was born to Marvin W. Sides and Elizabeth (Fowler) Sides on August 11, 1949 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He attended school in Walters, Oklahoma, and later, proudly served his country in the United States Army. Thomas worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 31 years before he retired. He was an avid fisherman and loved being out on the lake. Thomas was a devoted, kind-hearted, and loving husband, father, an amazing grandfather, and an even more amazing great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Elizabeth Sides; his sister, Marybeth; a brother, Sonny; and his great-granddaughter, Saige Ileene Bell. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Judy C. Sides; his daughter, Carmen Overstreet; grandchildren, Timbra and Sandy Bob Morris, Taylor and Monty Bell, Tycee Overstreet, and Kolton Burnett; great-grandchildren, Stoney Bell, and Nash Morris; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Anne Ladyman, David and Susan Wright, Rosemary Matlock, and James Wright; nephews, Bobby Sides and wife Brenda, and Jeff Sides; as well as many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
