Emma Lee Curb, 87, of Zeigler, Illinois passed away at 1:50 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, IL, with her family at her side. Emma was born February 15, 1928 in Walters, Oklahoma to William A. “Jack” and Ada Mae (Slack) Edgeman. She married Waford Gene Curb. He preceded her in death January 7, 2004. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Betty Curb of Mulkeytown and Greg and Rita Curb of El Paso, TX; two grandchildren, Crissy Robinson of Christopher and Roger Curb of El Paso, TX and five great grandchildren, Ava Rose and Bria Grace Robinson and Benaiah, Joshuah and Hezekiah Curb. Mrs. Curb was a homemaker and had attended the Zeigler First Baptist Church. Her parents, four brothers, Bernard, J.A., Ronald and Donald Edgeman also preceded her in death. Visiting hours were from 4 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler. Burial, beside her husband at the Walters Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Curb are suggested to the Zeigler Baptist Church, 106 S.
