Graveside service for Howard Worsham, 83, Walters, OK was held at Temple Cemetery, Temple, OK, Monday July 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m., Don Crow officiating under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters, OK. Howard Smyers Worsham was born to Charles Stokes and Edna Lane (Smyers) Worsham on February 3, 1932 at Temple, OK and departed this life in Temple on July 2, 2015, at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 29 days. Howard grew up at Temple, OK, graduating in the Class of 1950. He worked at Temple Milling Company until entering the military and served his country honorably as a Seaman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Upon his discharge Howard made his home in California where he went to work for Sears and Roebuck in 1955. He soon married Jeannie Mae (Kyle) and to the Union 4 children were born. He later married Dorothy May (Voeller) in 1976 and they remained in California until Howard’s Retirement in 1990, moving to Walters, OK in the spring of that year. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed taking the family on vacations to the California amusement parks such as, Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland and Sea World. He also enjoyed his grand-dogs, Isabella, Zoie and Chopper. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy in 2014; a son Rick Worsham; and a grandson, Cory Worsham. Survivors include 3 children, Randy Worsham of Eugene, OR, and twins, Terry Worsham of Hesperia, CA and Sherry Zyph of Washington State; 2 stepsons, Robert Johnson of Boise, ID and Todd Johnson of Lone Wolf, OK; 6 grandchildren, Lena Shepps, Michelle Barbieri and Dawn Segura all of Boise, ID, Leah Naomi of Oregon, Derrick Worsham and Ashley Worsham of NH; other relatives and friends
