Federal Assistance Available for Damage Caused by Flooding

Twenty-five Oklahoma counties have now been approved for public federal assistance stemming from the flood damage caused by the record-setting rains we received in May. In addition, 13 counties have been approved for individual federal assistance. Counties that are eligible for public assistance will receive federal funding to assist municipalities, counties and rural electric cooperatives with infrastructure repairs, debris removal and costs associated with responding to the storms.
