Question: “What is the Oklahoma law concerning child restraint seats?” Trooper John Hoover #306 said he often hears this question and explains, “Oklahoma State Statute 47:11-1112 states that every driver when transporting
a child under the age of 6 years old in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, and highways of this state shall provide for the protection of the child by using a properly installed child passenger restraint system.
